My youtube videos were blocked initially after the installation of CEDIT, but they started coming through, so never-mind and have a nice day!

lol, can only have been a bizarre coincidence - I haven't put any youtube blocking code in it!!

That's what I couldn't figure out. I checked the list for what was blocked and youtube.com wasn't in the list, but it started working, so it's all good.

Btw, it seems the bots that keep getting through on my site have been the @mail.ru one's. Hopefully those will stop now with CEDIT standing guard.

For a long time I tried to avoid adding mail.ru to my blocklist. I did seem to be getting a fair few legitimate registrations from them. However, when I got my first spam posting on these boards, I finally blocked the domain. Since then I haven't had a problem - especially since adding Spamhaus XBL and SBL lookup.

In fact, it just occurs to me that I added XBL and SBL after blocking mail.ru... I may unblock it again as a test. By default, the only domains blocked by the plugin are disposable email domains (and the internal list for these is pretty big now).
