I configured POP Collector to send email to a non-existent account (not intentionally!) but it is also not deleting the emails so they are still on the pop-server.
When Pop Colelctor does a send and receive it shows 110 messages not deleted.

Is there a way to reset the log just for thsi one account so that it will download the emaisl and =nwo sned them to the correct account?

I have tried deleting the account and adding it bakc but the config file stores information about so it still thinks it has downloaded the emails.

Thanks

Kevin

POP Collector should only mark a message as downloaded and sent once it has actually been sent (i.e. SMTP conversation returned an OK response when sending). I will check to see if I can find a problem here.

In the meantime, to delete the tracking info, you can simply delete the MessageLog.mdb database. This will automatically be recreated when PC is started, and will force all messages to be redownloaded and forwarded. This does however apply to all accounts, there is no easy way to only apply it to one account.

Thanks

Perhaps you coudl consider adding an option in each account to reset the message log, especailly useful when testing and setup.

thanks

I will look into this and see if it can be done. I don't think that the account is actually stored currently, just the message-ids, so if this is added it won't be backward compatible.

I am working on an update currently as I have been notified of a GPL SSL solution that I should be able to incorporate to allow SSL POP collection (e.g. GMail). This should be within a few weeks.
