Hi,

I just dowloaded your fantastic program, but do not understand everything. I looked in the forum but cannot find a help/ starrtup guide.

It is just the basic things I would like to configure:
- What do I need to fill in at the SMTP server?
There is room for adress, port and helo domain. Do I need to fill these boxes? So what am I supposed to fill in?

I already put a mail address at pop3. I filled in:
pop3 server: mail.isp.com
username: ndeelstra@mydomain.com
password: xxxx

when i press collect, I get the following messages:

10 11:45:09 POP: mail.isp.nl - ndeelstra@mydomain.com (23) - 21 FORWARDING FAILED
07-03-2010 11:45:09 POP: mail.isp.nl - ndeelstra@mydomain.com (23) - 22 forwarding (from sender@crow.nl)
07-03-2010 11:45:09 Socket error: 10049 (Address is not available from the local machine)
07-03-2010 11:45:09 Could not connect to :0

BTW: I am running exchnage 2010 on server2008 r2

Thanks in advance for your reply!

Norbert

The SMTP server settings need to point to your Exchange server. If POP Collector is running on the same machine as Exchange, just use 127.0.0.1 as the SMTP server, with port 25. If you configure this under the SMTP option (in the left-hand tree), then this will apply to all POP accounts that don't have custom SMTP settings.

Let me know if you need more info. Sorry I've never got round to documentation!
