My question is, is it possible to direct the plugin to include certain module inside the footer?

It may be - whether the plugin will require modification or not I don't know.

While I haven't tried it yet, it shows how to include a module in content (which is basically what the Add Footer plugin produces). The only issue could be that the plugin may add the footer after the content has been rendered by Joomla i.e. the code won't get processed. If this is the case I'll look into adding this within the plugin.

I tried this and it seems the {loadposition xxx} is not accepted. It just shows te text, not the module in position xxx.
